Bournemouth vs Chelsea: Confirmed team news, predicted lineup and injuries
Jadon Sancho is hoping to make his Chelsea debut when Chelsea plays Bournemouth in the Premier League tonight.
With Malo Gusto and Reece James both expected to miss the trip to the south coast, Enzo Maresca faces a dilemma at right-back elsewhere in the group.
Before the international break, in the 1-1 draw with Crystal Palace, Gusto hobbled off and left the France Under-21 team.
James, on the other hand, has completed the suspension that was carried over from the previous season, missing the first three games while also dealing with a hamstring issue.
Maresca stated on Friday that Gusto is also out for today’s match, meaning the Chelsea captain “needs more time” before he is considered for selection.
According to reports, Moises Caicedo may be used in their place at right-back, a position he occasionally filled during his time at Brighton. He also started there in the team’s last preseason matchup with Inter Milan.
Another choice is Axel Disasi, who last season filled in admirably on occasion.

Romeo Lavia, on the other hand, is another player unavailable today after missing the matches against Crystal Palace and Wolves.
Sancho has impressed his new head coach during his first week of training after completing his loan move from Manchester United late on the day of the transfer deadline. His colleagues have been away on international duty.
Given his strong start to the season, Noni Madueke is probably going to stay on the right, with Christoper Nkunku, Pedro Neto, and Joao Felix competing for his position on the left.
In what was believed to be a strictly precautionary move, Cole Palmer withdrew from international duty prior to England’s matches against Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.

In order to limit his workload, the 22-year-old was also left out of Chelsea’s Europa Conference League roster, although there is no indication that he is questionable for Saturday night’s match against Bournemouth.
